Another way to prevent handbag theft

I was emailed regarding another way to help prevent handbag theft. The “Chelsea” clip was discussed in a previous post about how to prevent handbag theft, but what can you do when these clips aren’t provided? The answer is a handbag hanger. A handbag hanger can help keep your handbag visible, as well as keeping it clean as the bag is kept off the floor.
IGNES Handbags create leather handbags and as a special gift, each bag purchased comes with the IGNES handbag hanger since they value safety and thought it was the perfect gift to include.
Apparently they have been quite a hit with their customers (a couple of their customer’s comments below) and they believe they are essential when going to bars and restaurants where the “Chelsea” clip isn’t provided.

I had one of those purse hangers which I thought was a great idea for keeping my bag off the floor until it was snatched while hanging on the table when I was having coffee outside a restaurant in Milan last June. My advice is to keep your bag on your knee or strapped around your ankle. Better to have a dirty bag than no bag at all.

Yes, probably not that great for security, but mainly for keeping your bag clean and off the ground.
