Even famous people have their handbag stolen, as Kirsten Dunst unfortunately found out that cost $13,000. There have been 5 cases of theft a in week, thieves prey on women in town centre cafes and apparently Yeovil drivers are turning cars into ‘shop windows’.

A pensioner had her purse stolen from her handbag while she was out shopping, a sneak thief has stolen a handbag from a nursing home and there was a robbery on Montague Street. A thief who stole a pensioner’s handbag was warned “If I ever see that thief again, I’ll run him over with my scooter”.
