A great story from John:

I found a bag ditched in Arlington Road, Camden, last month. I’m assuming it was pinched off Camden High Street, as Arlington Rd is parallel to it.

It was a black woman’s handbag with a Swedish passport (tourist?) and house keys – no money, of course.

I called the police but they couldn’t spare anyone to collect it, and asked if I would drop it off at the nearest station, when I got a chance. I said Sure, they said Thanks – most people aren’t that understanding.

Went to Kentish Town Police Station in the morning before work – in the other direction to work – and dropped it off. Got a nice big thanks from the girls at the station.

See, not everyone’s a thief ;-)
